Welcome to my website…I began working with stained glass in 1997 when a kind friend taught me the basics in her basement studio. After purchasing the necessary tools and materials I began creating panels for the windows of my home. After about a year I took several courses in Glass Fusing, and began creating functional pieces, incorporating the newly acquired fusing techniques with my stained glass techniques in order to create unique art pieces. In my endeavor to expand my range of possibilities I enrolled in a two weeks glass carving course in Santa Fe. This enabled me to etch designs into my fused bowls and plates, giving me an additional creative dimension in my quest for that singular uniqueness.
When my glass carving proficiency improved, I began experimenting with paints and the use of mica to give the etched designs the added dimension of color. With this new technique, I began creating wall art which provides me the canvas on which I can impart my creative expressions.
